Does anybody have any ideas how the wikia could be improved, as it seems to attract only a very small amount of people. Even amongst the fans is it mostly disregarded.
Oh, if you already did do so much extensive work, then please include it.
In the end, there is a lot missing on the gnoll page, as it is the case on most other pages, so it's better to have it too detailed than to have it incomplete.
Sorry for the late reply, I only saw it now.
1."do we have a guide of "dos and don'ts" in regards to what an article should contain?"
There is no guide, sorry.
2."I assume that I should only quote primary sources (that is, the story itself),"
Yes, but you could also quote a comment of Pirate's, be it on her website, Discord, etc.
3."And is there anything that should not go into a wiki page - for example, major plot spoilers? And if so, at what point does something become a spoiler"
Only the content of the current patreon chapter is considered spoiler. If you are a patreon, then please refrain from adding information from it and only do it once it becomes available to the public.
4."Should pages be limited to a certain length, or is more detail always better?"
Hmm, I would say don't be too detailed, though you would find a few pages here that could get have been summarized more.
5."Should entries be kept safe for all audiences, or is it okay to match the maturity level of the story?"
The latter.
Sorry I didn't reply to your question. I don't see any notification when you post it here and it won't be shown in Wiki Activity like it is the case with the comments on the pages.
"Please let me know if there is a better way to organize this kind of information."
Currently there doesn't come any better way to my mind.
If you use <ref>[...]</ref>, then it should direct to Pirate's site.
I would be fine with it.
Hi,
I agree with you that it can be useful to know when certain characters appeared.
How would you do it?
I can only think of a very inconvenient method, namely by adding the character names to the category list of the corresponding chapter, making it quite the task by roughly 200 chapters.
Hmm, it's a bit inconvenient. I can't just add them but would have to ask every single person, if I'm allowed to use their work.
No. Do we even have fan made stuff.
There are now 2 latest activity tags. Why did you add Template:MP Sidebar Activity , when there already is Template: MP Right
Compact yes, but I prefer that it shows you immediately what was done, at least partially.
I wanted to switch the position of the polls and latest activity/discussion, as you mostly look at those ones, and less at the poll, but when I try to do it, it duplicates the polls, and moves the old ones at the bottom of this wikia. Can you give it a try?
Latest Activity tag and discussion, are too gigantic. But, if I make it smaller, then it looks out of place.
But whether the polls are there or not won't make much of difference, in my opinion.
The problem zone is the mid area. It just looks so...dull.
Welcome to.., and Introduction; it's way too little to catch the eyes of new visitors.
It would be an improvement, if I could add a few pictures, but there are, unfortunately, none for this series.
I wait a few more days, and see if people are even going to take part of it, if not then I'm going to remove either one, or both of them.
I know that there are several pages with little content, but I hoped that other people will feel easier motivated to add something, due to the lack of content. If many see that most of a page is already done, then they will likely find it hard to add something new.
Do you mean both polls?
