Alked Fellbow is a Named Adventurer and was affiliated with the Kingdom of Nerrhavia Fallen, before accepting citizenship in Khelt.[1]

Appearance[]

He has grey eyes,[2] and his cloth is made of a thick plant fiber that makes his skin appear rough.[3] Later it is revealed to be leather, and it makes his skin tough and roughened, almost akin to armor itself.[4]

His voice rumbles.[3]

He wears a glittering armor, probably made of the scales of a Basilisk.[3]

Personality[]

He has a mercenary nature and points out clearly when he isn't paid enough for some task.[3]

Though he can afford to, Alked refuses to change his cloth from Hemp, as he knows that he is not Silk on the inside and he'd prefer to look what he chooses. Also, changing his cloth to Silk would not change how he is treated by the nobles of Nerrhavia's Fallen.[4]

He is a man of action, and while he works as a mercenary in his jobs, he is always upfront when he cancel his contracts, and would not lie, cheat, or betray his employers.[2]

He is awkward around royalty.

Background[]

TBA From Chapter 8.32

Chronology[]

He was hired by Nerrhavia Fallen in the war against Tiqr on behest of General Thelican, and would kill Thef, the Grand Elephant of [Queen] Nsiia.[5]

He refused to hunt down Rémi Canada since he was contracted for war, not for hunting civilians. Alked also refused to shoot [Queen] Nsiia when it was believed she and her citizens were supported by Flos, thus forfeited his contract.[3]

Quotes[]

  • (To Thelican) “I’m not being paid to hunt down civilians. I was contracted for one war. Altering my contract requires a substantial fee.”
  • (Thoughts) What kind of quest does the King of Khelt want for me? Slay a Jaw of Zeikhal? Recover the Diamond Swords of Serept as he’s lost his patience? Fight in his war?
  • (To Fetohep) “It’s who I am, your Majesty. I’m not Silk on the inside. I’d rather look like what I choose. If I wore silk, they would still know…”
  • (To Frieke) “Stitch me sideways. It can’t be. Frieke? You’re here?”
  • (To Fetohep) “I have thrown myself behind Khelt. When you called, I went, and I rode with a [Hero] and the King of Destruction to save lives a continent away. I saw the end of an age and the kind of magic that even [Archmages] quailed at. I am not going to leave. I have one demand of you, sire. Tell me, truly and honestly. Beyond the threats to Khelt. What are we facing?
