Bird is an Individual Worker Antinium that belongs to Liscor's Antinium Hive. He used to be a member of Erin's chess club, but now he works as a guard at The Wandering Inn.

  • (To Grimalkin) “Tell me something, then. Is it war?”
  • (To Erin & Lyonette) “I am sorry for causing trouble, Erin, Miss Lyonette. I did not mean to. I just wanted to hunt the Wyverns. I will be punished and obey.”
  • (Singing) “Now I am sad. Because I have been bad. This is my bad bird song, which is all I can do because I cannot eat birds. Which is sad.”
  • (To Erin) “We will protect you until the end. Did you not hear us the first time?”
  • (To Mrsha) “Why do I like killing birds when I like to fly? Because…flying things taste good. And I am jealous they fly. So perhaps we are enemies. But I would be sad if all birds died.”
  • (Monologuing) “This is Bird the [Hunter]. I am now in sight of my quarry. And now I will sneak up on the helpless Gnoll. I am going to eat her. Probably. Although she might not taste good.”
  • (To Archer B12) “If you do not eat the cheese, terrible things will happen. Archer B12’s duty is to eat the cheese. That is what Individual Bird says. Also, as slowly as you want.”
  • (To Anand) “Me? I am Bird. That is what I have always been. Sometimes I am serious. But you knew that.”
  • (To Free Queen) “I am being me. I know you said you would kill me if I saw you again. But I wanted to say goodbye. Goodbye. And thank you. You are not my mother. But you might have been a good one. I wish I could have heard you sing. May Garry come with us?”
  • (To Antinium) “I am Bird of The Wandering Inn. This is my home. I am quitting my Hive.”
  • (To Antinium) “Klbkch does not rule me.”
