Maelstrom’s Howling is one of the four mercenary groups that together create The Four Companies of Baleros
They are also called the Flowing Wind company.[1]
Background
Unlike Iron Vanguard, which mainly has employed Dullahans, Maelstrom’s Howling mostly has Centaurs enlisted in their group. That said, many mounted soldiers can be found there as well.[1]
As centaurs focus on rapid attacks and deployment and their group mainly consists of ones, they, too, specialize in fast strikes.They are known to first make their enemies feel secure and safe, but then their armies will suddenly come riding down on them during the night.[1]
The company is supposedly not suitable for battles in jungles and elevated terrain.[1]
