Pivr is an Antinium, and the Prognugator and Revalantor of the Flying Antinium.

Appearance[]

Pivr has four sets of multi-faceted eyes on his head, two arms and four jade-colored wings. He keeps twin daggers at his side and is usually standing in a hunched position.[1] He has an elongated body and looks closer to quadruped than bipedal.[2]

His voice is high-pitched.[3]

There are variations among the Flying Antinium - Pivr resembles more closely the regular Flying Warrior variant.

He wears a top hat with a strap.[4]

Following his resurrection, his appearance is that of Devrkr's original form.[5]

Personality[]

Pivr first appeared arrogant, obnoxious and unreasonable, following the orders of his own Queen instead of Xrn who was his commanding officer. He has the habit of restlessly striding or fanning his wings when he's standing in place.[3]

Pivr is convinced of his Hive and his Queen’s greatness. Despite this, Pivr has empathy for his fellow Antinium and changed somewhat after visiting the Free Antinium in Liscor. Whether that really matters remains to be seen.[6]

After joining the Fellowship of the Inn, Pivr became close with Normen and Alcaz, taking cues about learning how to be more liked by others.[7]

Background[]

Pivr was created/born only after the Second Antinium War.[8]

Chronology []

When the Flying Queen sent Pivr (along with Tersk and Xrn) to investigate the Free Antinium hive in Liscor with a delegation of six more Warriors, she gave orders that he should make a show of force by entering the city publicly. This incident almost provoked a war when they met Zel Shivertail and Ilvriss. During his stay, Pivr was not impressed, and objected to Klbkch's form that deviated from the regulations that his queen was supposed to work under.

His pinheaded behaviour made the Free Queen think about arranging a combat accident for Pivr, after he announced he wished to stay and challenge Liscor's Dungeon.[3] Later during his visit, Pivr was badly injured and three of his five normal warriors were slain, the sixth heavy combat warrior badly damaged. At this point, Tersk and Xrn openly discussed his worth as both Revalantor, deeming him a failure of the Prognugator class.[9] When he left after his first visit, his stance was more subdued and he proclaimed the Free Queen as a success.[10]

During his second visit at the Free Hive in the summer[11], Pivr gifted two Flying Antinium workers to the Free Queen for live vivisection. Then, he was surprised at how good properly made food tastes like when he tested the dishes made by Garry.[2]

Powers and Abilities[]

He has acidic and poisonous spit, which cause him to have a bad breath.[1]

Quotes[]

  • (To Klbkch) “Six of my Queen’s warriors—five regular warriors and a heavy-combat variant have flown here to see what your Hive has wrought. We are the Flying Antinium. Witness us.”
  • (To Ulvama) “What are you? A Painted Goblin?”
  • (To Gna) “I am the Flying Antinium’s Prognugator. Also Revalantor. Pivr. My job is to keep Bird safe. I have already established Antinium safety protocols. Observe.”
  • (To Xeu) “I just do not understand. I am Pivr. I am clearly beloved; how else would I have the Prognugator/Revalantor designation of the Flying Antinium? The Flying Queen loves me. Therefore everyone else does. Is that not so, Xeu? You like me, do you not?”
  • (To Xeu and Merrik) “I can do this better, Xeu. Watch. Salutations, sir. I am Pivr, who will not despoil your lands, ravish your women, or steal your purse.”
  • (To Normen and Alcaz) “Yes, well, neither of you are going to die. You must introduce your concepts to my Hive. That is an order. I am a Revalantor, just like Bird.”
  • (To Kevin) “What is so funny? Inform me, strange Human whom I vaguely recall. Then we shall be chummy. Friend.”
